Just back from the hanging of our selling exhibition at the League of friends Gallery at the QMC. Despite the horrendous traffic to get to the car park, the prints got delivered to site, Tom’s route from the University showed great insider local knowledge.

Friday, August 22nd, 2014Our member Mitch Tuffil has been successful in getting his image in to the “Beyond Group 7th National Exhibition 2014”.
Mitch has pointed out that he only scored a 16 on this image in a club competition, yet here it is being accepted in a nature section.
Take heart club members, club competitions are fun and should be treated as such but it’s not the Bee all and end all of the competition world.
KIT KAT 2013 trip video presentation

Outlaws Treasure Hunt 2014
Wednesday, June 4th, 2014Certainly a new item on the programme since I have been a member, so it was interesting to see how it would go. The basic premise was to have a series of photographic themes that each person was required to find and shoot. 5 points where awarded for actually finding and shooting the theme and then an additional 0-5 points awarded for “photographic style” and “interestingness”, giving a total of between 0-10.
