Being as though I suggested this feature I felt it only appropriate that I should kick it off.

I have been into photography all my adult life, my passion really grew when my wife (to be) bought me a Prakitica L2 with a 50mm Pentacon lens for an engagement present when I was 19 (yes, it was a long time ago).

User review of the Canon 8-15mm f4L Fisheye Zoom Lens

I have always been a fan of Fisheye and Ultrawide lenses, right back to my film days, the first Fisheye lens I owned was a Sigma 15mm, all manual, all metal beauty that I still own (although I don’t use it anymore, it’s just a paperweight). So with the move to digital this was an area of creativity that I was sorely missing. I purchased a wide angle zoom, 17-40mm for my full frame body which was great for landscapes but I needed wider, I needed Fisheye.

A Photographic Opportunity

I was at a loose end on Sunday (11th Aug) and found myself driving North, after 2 ½ hours I ended up at Spurn Point at 11:00am, not the best time to be there I’m sure you will agree.
Spurn has always been one of my favourite places, its just so weird and there is nowhere else like it (a bit like Dungeness is different to everywhere else as well). You can do tidal stuff, groynes, lighthouses, birds, people, the list goes on and on.
