  • Lace Market Guided Tour

    Graham Woodward, the Chair of the Nottingham Civic Society, has agreed to give NOPS a guided tour of the Lace Market on 6 August.  

    The tour will start at 7pm and will last about 2 hours. Graham will take us around the 20 key buildings in the Lace Market.  

    We will meet at the Nottingham Contemporary – there is a gathering area near the entrance. Graham recommends bringing some water but also mentioned there are NO toilets on the route. As the streets are quite narrow, Graham (who has done this many times) has suggested that for safety reasons we limit numbers to 15-18.

    This is the evening to share your images from recent NOPS outside meetings (New Bridge, Attenborough and the Treasure Hunt in Southwell) and any photoshoots from outside of the club.

    If you are sharing images from the Treasure Hunt, please can you title them the category it belongs to (e.g. FACE) and include your name as a watermark so we can see who shot which image. Please only include one image per category. This way we can go through all attendees photos and see the different ways we view the same location.

    For the other outings and any individual sets, no need to watermark. Up to 6 per author per event.
