I remember the first time I saw one of the Salgado’s most famous pictures. I was amazed. It was one from The Workers project where man is trying to stop leaking oil setting on fire. Since then I was hooked and became a huge fan of Salgado’s work.

NOPS 2nd print competition took place on May 30, with 33 images in the open section and 28 in the themed section, the theme being music. It was good to see the thought and effort that had gone into the images in the themed section, a lot of work taken specifically for the competition.
