A tale of 3 Outlaws’ trip to Welsh Wales (Scott, Chris and Ian)
On the 14th May, the 6pm national weather forecast stated 97% chance of rain. This was just as the email from Chris Newham arrived on my iPad. “Are we on for tomorrow?” it read.

So, it was with a degree of trepidation that the Outlaws entered the above competition as 2012 champions. Last year 8 clubs entered, this year it was only 5.
Scott Wilson’s picture Reach has been used as the front cover for the lastest edition of Left Lion, Nottingham’s leading arts & culture magazine.
I have to admit that I felt reasonably comfortable taking a 23 point lead advantage from the first leg at Mansfield, it turned out to be much closer in the end!

Last night James Maude CC played host to ourselves in the first leg of our annual battle.
Here is a brief summary of the results.
Open & Theme “Triangles”
Competitions have got off to a good start this year with our 1st projected open & theme having 92 submissions.
The judge, Peter Cheetham, had his work cut out with a high standard of images in both sections, as usual there were many useful comments to help us improve our work.
