Having braved the rainy weather in the Lake District for the Outlaws’ annual trip last year, it was decided to head south in 2014 with the vague hope that Dorset’s Jurassic Coast in September would offer sunnier climes. The Premier Inn in Weymouth was deemed a suitable venue, having the capacity to accommodate us all and being in a convenient location for photographic sites such as Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove & Swanage pier, to name but a few.

A Photographic Opportunity
Sunday, August 11th, 2013I was at a loose end on Sunday (11th Aug) and found myself driving North, after 2 ½ hours I ended up at Spurn Point at 11:00am, not the best time to be there I’m sure you will agree.
Spurn has always been one of my favourite places, its just so weird and there is nowhere else like it (a bit like Dungeness is different to everywhere else as well). You can do tidal stuff, groynes, lighthouses, birds, people, the list goes on and on.

Tuesday, May 14th, 2013On the 14th May, the 6pm national weather forecast stated 97% chance of rain. This was just as the email from Chris Newham arrived on my iPad. “Are we on for tomorrow?” it read.
