Meet the OUTLAW – John Hodgkinson

Years in Photography, c. 50yrs

My father often took photographs of the family as I was growing up and I had my first camera, a Kodak 44A, in my early teens.  The camera used 127 size roll films and produced 12 x 44mm square negatives per film.  My interests developed and I progressed to 35mm and then, around 1964 to an early SLR, a Yashica Penta J.

Kit Kat 2014

Having braved the rainy weather in the Lake District for the Outlaws’ annual trip last year, it was decided to head south in 2014 with the vague hope that Dorset’s Jurassic Coast in September would offer sunnier climes. The Premier Inn in Weymouth was deemed a suitable venue, having the capacity to accommodate us all and being in a convenient location for photographic sites such as Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove & Swanage pier, to name but a few.

2nd PDI competition 2014

Thursday April 24 saw our 2nd PDI competition of the year. We had Steve Myall booked, but with personal circumstances meant he had to cancel and so our programme sec called an ex member in the form of Bob Rowe to cover for us.
