It’s always great to see somebody from our club to win a competition.This time Ian Pinn our chairman for 2013 won the online competition in Healthy Living magazine.
Our own member John Purchase has been selected as one of 20-25 strictly Olympus photographers from all over the world involved in Olympus new lens photobook. His picture “Crazy paving…” has been chosen for the category “Best of 60mm macro”.
Over the last couple of months our members have been putting together their entry for the NEMPF 2014 exhibition, this is always a frantic time with many questions flying around… What should I put submit? Will it get accepted? Does it look better as a print or PDI? etc etc etc.

Hosted by Rushcliffe Photographic Society-Tuesday 30th April 2013 So, it was with a degree of trepidation that the Outlaws entered the above competition as 2012 champions. Last year 8 clubs entered, this year it was only 5.
I have to admit that I felt reasonably comfortable taking a 23 point lead advantage from the first leg at Mansfield, it turned out to be much closer in the end!
