Scott Wilson’s Commended picture Black Rock Cottage has been selected as a banner for Landscape Photographer of the year 2013 competition.
PAGB decided to celebrate this 100th issue of e-news with 100 photographs.
Collected more than 500 pictures and Outlaws Chris Newham and Ian Pinn have got one included in this first 100.

I purchased the above bag some 5 months ago as my current Lowepro Backpack was well beyond its sell by date, it was starting to let in water and was wearing out in places. This new Kata bag was not cheap, almost £150 so it should be good, although it must be 20 years since I last purchased a decent bag.
I am sure you are all familiar with Scott’s success at the Outlaws this year (and indeed prior to that), however, you may not be aware of Scott’s other successes both Nationally and Internationally.
As October approaches it always reminds me to visit a couple of places of interest to me, perhaps not the greatest photography locations in the world, but I find them quite inspiring non the less.
September sees our 4th print competition, with the theme of seaside and a judge that hasn’t been to the club before so new territory for everyone.
With lower than average entries, the standards are very high as usual.

The KitKat Diaries
A brief account of our latest escapde…………………….
I think I can speak for most seasoned KK’ers that the 2012 trip to Morecambe was in the main a disappointment, the company was good, the Hotel was good, the location was, to be honest a little bit wanting for more to do. We had a good run up and got a few at Twistleton, and likewise tended to go into the Lake District for inspiration. On the back of these trips it was decided that we go to the Lake District (proper) in 2013.
Hi,
Being as though I suggested this feature I felt it only appropriate that I should kick it off.
I have been into photography all my adult life, my passion really grew when my wife (to be) bought me a Prakitica L2 with a 50mm Pentacon lens for an engagement present when I was 19 (yes, it was a long time ago).
Just a taster as to what’s in store on this year’s trip to the Lake District.
