$You really couldn\'t get any closer to the harbour entrance, never seen so many taped off areas. They obviously didnt want any accidents with people being washed away, went for the fast exposure to capture the action rather than the slow, it would have just been a wall of white.$

Outside Event - Iremongers Pond, Wilford

SatNav - NG11 7AA. Car park on the right, just before the Ferry Boat Inn.

Iremongers Pond can be found on the south bank of the River Trent, directly south of the centre of Nottingham City Centre in the Village of Wilford, at the junction of Main Road and Coronation Avenue.

The pond can be easily accessed from the new "Wilford Village Tram Stop" with the Ferry Pub one one side and the pond on the other.

Examples of the bird-life photographed on and around the pond are: Swans, Moorhens, Great Crested Grebes, Tufted Ducks, Mallards Kingfisher, Cormorants, Herons, there are also insects such as Dragonflies, Damselflies, Butterflies.
