Despite facing another competition in lockdown away from the Nottingham Outlaws club house, members committed once again to a remote competition with some excellent PDI submissions. John Young presents his usual report on the evenings proceedings…
We held our Lockdown PDI June competition on 25 June. Malcom Sales stepped into the hot seat as our judge. Thank you Malcolm for an informative and interesting commentary on our images. There were 37 entries in this open competition. As usual members presented us with a wide variety of very enjoyable images.
Well done and thanks to all entrants. There were 9 held back images. The winner was Lester Woodward with his street image ‘Stand Still to Phone’, which picked up the maximum score of 20.
Sally Herbert, Lois Webb and Mike Ray-Jones all scored a 17. Scores of 18 were awarded to Lois Webb for Symbolised Abundance and Malcolm Nabarro for The Bridge at Givet. Three scores of 19 went to Jack Worsnop for Taj Mahal from Mosque, Nigel Stewart for Morning Glow and Jack Worsnop for Tall Ships.
Our competitions held as Zoom meetings go well but we all look forward to meeting in reality soon.
