Lester Achieves CPAGB Accreditation

After a few years of thinking about it and putting it off, I eventually applied for my CPAGB.

I had previously attended a workshop on the awards.  I got the impression from the “judges/Lecturers” on the day that I might get my DPAGB, but almost certainly would get my CPAGB.  The lecturers saw the CPAGB as the most important award as it got you recognition of PAGB patronage.

I decided to do a projected digital image (PDI) entry, although often seen as a bit more difficult to get as the cost of entry was less (you don’t have the cost of printing and mounting) images.

As ever the entry process was not straight forward with payments and correspondence going to both PAGB and NEMPF.

The judging process consists of 6 judges giving a score, the explanatory note indicate that a score of 4 is a pass, a score of 2 is a fail for each image, in reality this makes no sense as each judge gives a score between 2 and 5 and an overall score of 200 for 10 images is required, thus a score of 20 is a pass for each image, confused indeed.

So onto the entries, my scores in score order (total of 227)
