August NOPS DPI competition report

Competetion secretary John Young presents his report for the NOPS 4th DPI competition of the year.

The fourth projected competition was judged by David Gibbins on 27th August. Thanks to him for doing an excellent job as judge. Once again our members presented a very good set of images for competition representing many different styles. The overall winner was an excellent black and white image titled ‘BBC’ by John Purchase. The theme for this month was ‘Street Photography’ and the section was won by Lois Webb with her image ‘Women Only’. Well done to all who entered. In the open section Michal Tekel and Bob Richards scored a 19 and Lester Woodward scored two 19s. A score of 18 was awarded to Lois Webb, John Purchase, Mitch Tuffil and Reece Hodgkinson. In the themed section George Reilly and Bob Richards scored a 19 and John Hodgkinson scored two 18s.
