NOPS 3rd projected competition report

Thursday June 30th saw the outlaws welcome guest judge Malcom Sales to the clubroom for our 3rd projected image competition of the year. Internal competition secretary John Young presents his report.

We held our 3rd projected competition on 30th June with the theme ‘Artificial Landscape’ plus our usual open section.  Malcolm Sales judged and gave us an excellent commentary on the entries. The images were varied and interesting. It’s always great to see members entering competitions and congratulations should go to all entrants for the high standard of images. The open section was won by Lester Woodward with his ‘Crying on the Inside’. 19 went to Sue Jackson for her ‘Waiting for the Missus’ and 18’s went to John Purchase for his ‘Bee Orchid’ and Paul McKinley for ‘Frog Legged Leaf Beetle’. In the themed competition Lois Webb won the section and best shot form the whole evening with her ‘Zen Cuisine Scape’. 19 went to Sue Jackson for ‘Wonderland’ and 18’s went to Lester Woodward for his most imaginative mind bending ‘Inception Beach’ and Paul McKinley for ‘London Lights’. Well done to all entrants and thanks for an interesting competition.
