NOPS 2nd print competition took place on May 30, with 33 images in the open section and 28 in the themed section, the theme being music.
It was good to see the thought and effort that had gone into the images in the themed section, a lot of work taken specifically for the competition.

The above exhibition has both BPE (British Photographic Exhibition) and PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) accreditation. Acceptances count towards your BPE star rating awards.

So, it was with a degree of trepidation that the Outlaws entered the above competition as 2012 champions. Last year 8 clubs entered, this year it was only 5.

I have to admit that I felt reasonably comfortable taking a 23 point lead advantage from the first leg at Mansfield, it turned out to be much closer in the end!

I am pleased to say that there have been quite a few prints and digital images acceptances for the club into the 2012 NEMPF exhibition, with over 2600 submissions this year competition for a place has been stiff & the scores required for acceptance are high.
A total acceptance of 17 photos from NOPS which equates to 12.5% of total images NOPS submitted were accepted
