Outlaws internal competition report for April

With the current climate amid the Covid-19 crisis, things had reached a standstill as far as club events with such meetings being held in a reduced format using online facilities. April 30th however saw an attempt at returning to the usual competition schedule but with a twist, this this event was held entirely online. John Young presents his usual competition report…

On the 30th April we held our monthly
competition. Due to lock down this was done as a zoom meeting, a first for us.
Thanks to Steve Walters for braving his first on line judging session.

The virtual meeting and competition was a great success and Steve was an excellent
judge. The high standard of entries (48 in all) was reflected in the four
scores of twenty awarded to Lois Webb for both Sunrise at St Thomas a Becket
Church and Taking the Strain, Nigel Stewart for Prayers on the Ganges, and for
the outright winner Lester Woodward with his dynamic image Stand Still to
Phone. Well done to everyone who entered and thanks for an enjoyable evening of
viewing your images.
